Back Story:

"Although not the leading single or the title track, this song onymously was always one of the most treasured amongst us band mates. Originally the bass was quite simple, I remember spending a whole week each night developing and evolving it further. It was an important bass line for me to write as until that point I don't think I had danced around on so many notes other than the root note in a composition before. The bass pattern also became a good fallback if for another song I wasn't sure of how to fill out the space. There were many songs we wrote together that after a while we got bored with and replaced it with a new one, but almost without except did we never do a gig without this staple song. The middle part is the fastest tempo we play in the "Puppet" EP where we essentially double the tempo where we reach a climax before rolling back into the rest of the song as we were."
