Back Story:

"Inspired by Thomas Edison's quote, "We have come a long way and we have learned a lot. We know that there are 2,000 elements that cannot make a good light bulb.", this song is an encouragement for someone who is working both smart and hard and can't yet see the success just about to rise up from the horizon, although have in reality made far more successes than they give themselves credit for. It is an encouragement to everyone to take those necessary setbacks in one's stride on their journey towards success. When looking back, it's really easy to see the success, and missed opportunities for further successes too. This song was originally part of the abandoned acoustic album that I redid. I considered this song at the time to be the best I'd ever written. Thanks heaps Donna for your contributions with the vocals too, they're awesome!"
