Back Story:

"When writing this song I was wanting to experiment with how little rhythm guitars and backing tracks I could get away with, so the songs only has a lead guitar to go with the bass and drums and I spent a lot of time with the lyrics getting them as passionate sounding and high quality as possible. Inspired by the more fashionable synth than guitars at the time I did end up using some synth as the song built up from the second verse. Lyrically I was having a go at those they pretend they don't remember when they really do because they want to pretend they weren't affected and as a power play to make as if someone else's importance to them wasn't as important as they know it was."
